Meeting with Dr Wong

It is indeed a great experience to deal with a big gun who has such influential power with media as well as contact to the Prime Minister. A PHD holder who speaks differently and does things professionally.

Lesson learnt :-
  • do proper homework before presenting to the boss . Hands- on experience ( field visit ) will ease in presenting the ideas as well as market research.
  • strategically think of ideas to SOLVE PROBLEMs of hotel operators as well as generate revenue to the university( win win solution )
  • think of ideas people think impossible and SHOW to them that it actually WORKS
  • use "CHALLENGING" instead of difficult to think CREATIVELY to tackle business problem
  • regardless of the plan working or not , BELIEVE that it will WORK with proper analysis
  • use 1 - 2 -3 to highlight his points ( professional )
  • fast LEARNING CURVE - drive BMW 5 series ( girls will then eventually come)
Me :-
  • be earlier than purchaser to do site visit - know the staffs ( understand the floor plan / locations / condition viability )
  • never show PRICE LIST till buyer shows interest ( negotiation technique )
  • never listen and absorb one's saying (fools - negative) but analyse and think of solution / why he says so
  • never afraid to ask
  • always listen to 2 persons perspective

Dad :-
  • think in advance what they gonna say so can tackle each questions
  • NLP - speak softly of the benefits ( emphasis the importance )
  • touch the buyer's body - show closeness
  • think how IF - buyer is not greedy ( not accept bribe )
